Robot Hall of Fame was a client sponsored project at Carnegie Mellon University. This project sought to create a unique interactive experience for Carnegie Science Center's new RoboWorld exhibit which is scheduled to open in March 2009.

My team created an experience that commemorates the guest's visit to the Robot Hall of Fame creating a virtual postcard with R2-D2 and C-3PO. The guests can customize their postcard by adding their favourite robots from the Robot Hall of Fame as well as a themed frame. At the end of the experience, they can email themselves the postcard containing their favourite robots and information about them.

I was a part of this project during my second semester at the ETC.
Being the only programmer on the team, I created the interactive touch
screen menu using Flash AS2. I intergrated RFID with AS2 so that
when the guests added the Robot Data Cards (RFID cards) to the
card reader, their favourite robot would appear on the screen with them.

I also did show control programming and integrated that with AS2
so that the right C3PO video would play on the screen when the guests
interacted with the touch screen.

In addition to that, I did DMX programming for R2-D2's movement
and sound. Finally, I tied it in with the show control system for a complete
guest experience.
